Pikes Peek 10K

April 24, 2016
Rockville, MD
6th Age Group

This past weekend, the boyfriend and I ran in a local 10K. It was a point to point with a net downhill. The race was designed to make it very easy for the runners to get to the start line and return to it as the race started and finished at the metro stops. So once we were finished we hopped back on the metro to get back to our car.

Living the RAD Life with the All In One Kit

Have you purchased your RAD All In One Kit yet? Well if you haven't you should.

RAD has changed my myofascial life for the better. The products developed are unlike anything you have experienced, unless you typically put a lacrosse ball on your back.

My favorite product by far is the RAD Roller which is the companies bread and butter, but I am falling in love with their entire product line.

Sometimes the Best Parts of a Race, Is the Race Itself.

While running in a half marathon last march, I passed one of the entertainment locations that were all along the course. Now, usually I don’t let these musicians or dancers get the best of me, but in this case, I almost stopped.

Hagerstown Sprint Duathlon

Hagerstown, MD
1.9 mile run, 10 mile bike, 5K run
Overall- 3rd
Finish Time: 1:07:32

This past weekend I decided to run the Hagerstown Duathlon after being sick for a week and a half. I signed up at the last minute and I am glad I did. I was mainly looking to see how I was able to perform after not feeling well for a long time but I also wanted to put out a good bike time, I have been working very hard on my power on the bike so this would be a good early season test.

I ended up performing a lot better than I could have predicted and came out with a third place finish. Not too bad right!

Ann Arbor Half Marathon

Ann Arbor Marathon
13.1 miles
Ann Arbor, MI
April 3rd, 2016

Well this was certainly a cold race, but it is Michigan after-all! The course was rolling with a combination of trails, running through downtown Ann Arbor, and the University of Michigan campus. The race was run rather well and stocked with aid stations given the cold weather but I have my comments.
